Lacquer box pre 1940s with a wooden frame. Depicting a mountain landscape with a river cascading down threw a temple village bamboo and pine trees dispersed threw out the scene. The attention to detail is fantastic. The date is hard to pin down with these exactly they have done plaster casting boxes from the mid 19th century up until the early 20th. In my opinion with wear and colouration 1880-1920.
