Traditionally used to house goldfish and koi, these style pots were first used during the Ming dynasty. These fish bowls feature a classic design beautifully done in red with gold gilding and white on the inside with three fish painted on the bottom. In China and other parts of Southeast Asia it's common to see these large bowls used as decoration to not only hold colorful fish, but also water lilies and other aquatic plants.
