Dehua porcelain (blanc de shine) with cherry blossoms sparrows and a intricately carved tree. A fantastic example of a well thought out massive vase. 19th Century to early 1900s. Dehua porcelain also known as Blanc de Chine is the west which means "White from China" in french is a type of porcelain made in the Fujian province. Produced since the Ming dynasty (1368-1644) till present day. The Republic period (1912-1949) began when the Qing dynasty (1644-1912) fell in 1912. The republic was established to replace the monarchy after over 2000 years of Imperial rule. 18.5" Tall.
